I am free today. Because of my grown strength w the lord. Melissa. Would talk to me often about faith and when things get bad give it to the lord! Well I finally listened to her... I mean really listened! I AM FREE. Owe some of it to melissa. I have a picture in a frame and look at it and smile at least ten times a day. When I had my son westin she gave me a night light that says. "Sleep tight" I keep it next to her pic. The most wonderful thing happened . I met a girl who is much like melissa but the crazy part is she has melissas smile?! So I think God put her in my life for a reason cause every time I look at her I get to see melissas smile.and my friends God mothers name is melissa. Melissa is still very much alive in my life and so thankful to have kbown her because she changed my life

I think of your family often and the marks you have left on my life. My heart cries with sadness as I feel only a fraction of your loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will always remember her smiling face and infectious laughter. You truly have been blessed.

Frank and Dayle,
We ran into Jean Lynch at Village Baptist today (December 20) and got the news about Melissa going to be with the Lord. Our fondest memories of her were her sweet smile/sweet spirit and her "babysitting" Joy many times when we were at your house. We can't begin to imagine how difficult this must be for you, but we know that the Lord will use this difficulty to enable the two of you to minister to others (1 Corinthians 1:3-5). We will continue to pray for you, especially during this Christmas season.

Dear Dr. Page, Dayle & family - Oh my...my flesh screams this ain't right, this ain't right, this ain't right! I know that even now, our Lord lifts your head and is renewing your strength. I HATE contacting you under THESE circumstances! You are so loved and your family's ministry has impacted so many lives for the Kingdom; we are your witnesses now and lend our voices to your prayers; united with & in the Holy Spirit, we cry for you for peace beyond our mind's understanding and endurance beyond our natural capability. We commit to continue to pray for you in the days ahead. Your words & ministry meant so much to me while at Warren. You have loved me with Jesus' love and I am so blessed to know it. You met me at the alter to receive my family's membership, dedicate my baby before God & His church, receive her prayer of salvation years later & baptize her - your letter to her is a treasured possession - pray me through divorce and recovery, scoop her into your arms and love on her during that time, too. Y'all modeled godly families for us and it was not lost on us. Thank you! Even years later, when I remarried & left Warren & then became ill, you still ministered to me from afar - keeping my name in your "book" to remind you to pray! Your humor kept me encouraged so many times. Your precious girls - your obvious treasure. Until we meet again, please accept this small expression of love & comfort now & know that we will continue to pray. Melissa was just precious and such an important part of all that you have done. Hallelujah - she stands with God now. With love, Dolly & Caroline(and David)

Dear Frank and Dayle,
I was so grieved for you to hear of the loss of your daughter. I am praying for God's comforting presence to be with you in your suffering.
Frank, this is your cousin Jan. My husband Austin and I have been listening to your sermons from Taylors Baptist over the past year, and Austin has recorded them on DVD, we have given them to my mother Ethel. She was so happy to receive them and share them with Gail and all her friends. So I want you to know that you have touched our lives in this way. I have learned from your sermons that you are strong in your faith, and I pray God will renew your strength as well as Dayle's in this time of loss.
I just wanted you to know I think of you often and will continue praying for you, as well as for Nancy and Willie and your extended family.
With much love and fond memories of you.

Dear Dale and Frank, I understand how you are hurting now. It just doesn't seem right to have to bury your child. I lost my Beverly a little over two years ago to cancer. At least I had time to accept that God was calling her home a little earlier than we wanted. I had the time to say goodbye. We all love you and will be praying for the family. Melissa had such a sweet personality.

May you remember Melissa every day, even when the wounds begin to heal. Tell stories about her, sing her favorite songs, whatever you can do to keep her spirit alive in your hearts and minds. Although she is with God, her presence is also with you. This was and still is a great comfort to me when I think of my father who passed away when I was a child.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Thomas and both families in this time of loss. Our prayers are with you!

The ceremony today was very meaningful and emotional. Blessed assurance Jesus is mine and "to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord" is what kept resounding in my mind after hearing Dr. Harley & Dr. Page talk with us today.

I'll never forget the Baltimore mission trip in summer of 2003. Melissa was with us on that first trip. She was good with helping children during the block party and setup with Karina filling all of those water balloons. We had a blessing we had that week in seeing many come to the Lighthouse Inner harbor church. Great memories!

Dearest Page Family,

There simply are no words that can make this better, and no one knows how much it hurts to lose a child like someone who has been there. I know that through your faith in our Father, you will get through this. May His love, and the love of the thousands whose lives you have touched through the years, give you the peace that passes all understanding.

Dear Page family - We are relatively new members of TFBC but have loved the sermons Dr. Page has preached. They have helped with the recent death of My husband's father and with the turbulent health crisis of both our youngest and oldest granddaughters. This is a time of sorrow for the whole family and we truly wish that we could help. Being a parent and grandparent the pain of a hurt child is unbearable. We know that you are all strong and will relay on God's help to make this journey. Please accept our prayers and wishes for your family. Johnny & Cheryl Harrison

Dr. Page, Dayle, Laura & Allison; Words cannot express the sadness and heartbreak that was felt in our family with the news of Melissa's passing. You and your family mean so very much to us, we have and will continue to keep you in our prayers. She was very special to us and we loved her very much. We will always cherish the memories we have of her and the very special time we were given with her. She was a joy. My foundest memories of Melissa were with Billy, she always treated him with kindness but most importantly like anyone else. If he survived 2 summers with Melissa he can survive anything! He loves her very much and still talks about her; just out of nowhere he will say something Melissa use to say to him, when I ask him who said that he says "Melissa Page" "I love Melissa Page Mom". He does love her as do Bill and I.
With Love to all of you In Christ.

Dr. and Mrs. Page,
Although you do not know me, my husband and I have suffered a similar loss when we lost our first-born daughter at the age of seven through a tragic accident. We are deeply empathizing your loss. The daughter we adopted after Tara's loss, Amber, was your Chaplain at the hospital. God saw fit to bless us with her to raise and she has been a joy in our lives as she continues to bless and bring comfort to others. I know your reputation and I know you have a strong faith. I can also tell you that I bear witness to the fact that God's grace is sufficient for all your needs and that you will survive this tragedy and come out of it even strong and better able to minister to the needs of others. May you know that we will continue to keep your family in our thoughts and prayers in the long days of healing ahead. God bless. Dianne Blackwell

Dr. Dr. Page and Family,

Mere words cannot express the sorrow and pain that I feel for you and your family. I can only imagine what you must be going through....and even at that, it wouldn't come close to what you really must be experiencing.
God's ways, timing and life's journey are not ours...but HIS. Right now Melissa is in the arm of our Lord, and what better place than that?
May God give you both strength to get through the coming hours, weeks and months ahead. It will not be easy, but, with God it will be possible.
Love, Laurel Schroeder
